TUCKER-JONES TAVERN PUZZLE | PATIENCE

The oldest known puzzle design, probably of Chinese origin. Popular with 19th century sailors. We make ours with nails made in New England on a machine that has been in use since the Civil War era.

Patience Puzzle is more a mathematical puzzle than the other Tavern Puzzles. It has 43 steps, but only a few basic moves.

The secret to solving it is discovering the correct sequence.

ABOUT TUCKER-JONES:
Tavern Puzzles® evolved from reproductions of hand-forged artifacts that Dennis Sucilsky came across while researching architectural hardware. As a blacksmith, Dennis was able to use his knowledge of iron-working and tool making for production of metal puzzles.

The earliest Tavern Puzzles® are based on designs centuries old. New styles are added on a regular basis; some of these are original designs, others are new versions of classics.

The purpose of any puzzle is to provide a challenge, entertainment, and fun. Our collection does all three, on several different levels.
Tucker-Jones House, Inc. was established in 1975. It is a family business, owned and operated by Dennis and Donna Sucilsky.

Dennis Sucilsky is a museum trained, traditional blacksmith. His specialty is 18th and 19th century architectural hardware. In 1980, Dennis began production of metal puzzles. Incorporating both traditional and original designs, the Tavern Puzzle® Collection emerged.

 1. SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

We ship within 72 hours after payment is processed.

2. ORDER STATUS & TRACKING

All orders placed from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) will be processed and shipped within 2 days upon confirmation of payment. This could vary with circumstances such as online security checks, shipping restrictions, payment authorization, packing and dispatching of order. An email confirmation will be sent for all orders once received.

Once the order has been dispatched, an email confirmation will be sent to you with the tracking number. You may check and track the delivery status of your orders with our local logistics partner, with your Order Number. Please provide your contact number under the address selected upon checkout in order for the courier company to contact you in case of any unforeseen circumstances.

For all international deliveries, the time taken is dependent on our logistics partners and their affiliates.
