SHINOLA SEA CREATURES 40MM

New to the Detrola family: A 40mm, 10 ATM sport watch inspired by critters of the deep sea—and built from ocean bound plastic that used to threaten them.

Every minute, one truckload of plastic waste ends up in the sea. The earth’s resources, climate, and ecosystems are what inspire and empower us to make—and they deserve protection. So we looked for a pollution solution, and used it to build the Sea Creature Detrola.

We crafted this watch’s case and strap from #tide ocean material® granules and yarn, made from 100% ocean-bound plastic waste. Every Sea Creature is living proof that single-use plastics can and should have a second life.

Just not in the ocean.

Protecting the earth’s natural resources is a movement we believe in. In turn, Sea Creatures feature the Argonite 715—our own movement we stand behind. This high-accuracy quartz movement, which is hand-assembled in Detroit with Swiss and other imported parts, drives the hours, minutes, seconds and calendar aperture function with precision.

BATTEN THE HATCHES

Sea Creatures cases are crafted from ocean bound plastic with a stainless steel core. The organic shape, matte finish, and detailing on the submarine hatch-inspired case are made possible by upcycled plastic. Water-resistant up to 10 ATM, it’s the perfect companion for adventure. Use the unidirectional ocean plastic dive bezel with a rippled wave pattern to keep track of time.

NOTE: On land or in the sea, Sea Creatures should be treated with care. Upcycled ocean plastic is durable but not indestructible. Dropped on a hard surface or knocked against a sharp object, there is risk of breakage.

ALL NATURAL

Inspired by the forms and colors of ocean critters, Sea Creatures have vibrant, organic “squircle”-shaped dials with aquatic textures and details. To top it off, hands and indices glow with blue SuperLumi-Nova lume, reminiscent of bioluminescent bays.

KEEP THE WAVES CLEAN

The wonderfully wavy Sea Creatures straps are made from #tide ocean material® yarn. Easy to clean and durable, they’re also comfortable and water-resistant.

We ship within 72 hours after payment is processed.

2. ORDER STATUS & TRACKING

All orders placed from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) will be processed and shipped within 2 days upon confirmation of payment. This could vary with circumstances such as online security checks, shipping restrictions, payment authorization, packing and dispatching of order. An email confirmation will be sent for all orders once received.

Once the order has been dispatched, an email confirmation will be sent to you with the tracking number. You may check and track the delivery status of your orders with our local logistics partner, with your Order Number.
