This is traditional Japanese cast iron that have been modified to fit our modern lifestyle. The refined shapes along with lacquered surface give the incense holders a charming and elegant look.

About Nippon Kodo

The company traces its roots back over 400 years to Jyuemon Takai, known as Koju, an incense maker to the Emperor of Japan. Founder Tadanori Konaka who was born in Izushi, Hyogo had gone to Osaka, and got a job in Kokando in 1920. He went to Tokyo in 1929.

He had established Tokyo Kokando which is the basis of the current of Nippon Kodo, which sells products in the eastern japan region of Kokando. The Nippon Kodo Group was established in August 1965; though it had been in business since 1575. 

The company's name means Japanese incense store.

We ship within 72 hours after payment is processed.

2. ORDER STATUS & TRACKING

All orders placed from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) will be processed and shipped within 2 days upon confirmation of payment. This could vary with circumstances such as online security checks, shipping restrictions, payment authorization, packing and dispatching of order. An email confirmation will be sent for all orders once received.
