Natalie earned her herbal certification at the NY Open Center, while Matthew deepened his practice in plant cultivation. Together, they began crafting household and body products, drawing from Taoist practices, alchemy, and plant medicine, melding their individual knowledge into a unified vision.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWith the birth of their first son, they embraced the next stage of their journey, moving to a cabin in the Catskill Mountains. Through his apprenticeship with master soap-maker Susan Ryhanen of Saipua, along with ongoing studies in herbalism and Andean Cosmology, Matthew continues to refine his craft. Natalie’s deep connection to herbalism and nature further fuels their shared mission. Together, Matthew and Natalie have built TU·ET·AL, a company that honors the earth and channels the transformative power of nature and the cosmos into products that support wellness and sustainability. Hand-cut pieces are blended with base oils of Olive, Coconut, Kokum Butter, Castor, Shea Butter, and Jojoba. The result is a beautifully textured soap with a woody\/floral essential oil blend which compliments the remaining scents in the soap pieces.
